Sela Pass - Arunachal Pradesh


Sela Pass is located at an elevation of 4170 metres (13,700 feet) above MSL is one of the highest
mountain peaks in India and is located in between West Kameng district and Tawang district of
Arunachal Pradesh. This exquisite pass connects Tawang to the rest of the India.

Sela Pass is an incredible destination for snow lovers as it is covered with snow almost half of the
year, most probably between October to May.It also offers spectacular views of Himalayas. The
major tourist attraction at this place include  Sela Lake and Jaswant Garh, The Sela Lake gets
frozen during every winter season which gives marvelous views for the spectators. The summer in
Sela Pass in not so cold, but during winters temperature can go down to -10 degree centigrade.
